Fish and chips are longstanding as the nation's favourite, and with over ten thousand chip shops in the UK, competition for the coveted Fish and Chip Shop of the Year Award is fierce.

Nominations are now open for the 2025 awards, and as well as Fish and Chip Shop of the Year, there are 12 other categories to vote for, including 'Newcomer of the Year', 'Drywite Young Fish Frier of the Year' and 'Environment and Sustainability Award'. These awards really highlight the high standards within the industry and celebrate the people who set those standards, as well as the next generation of businesses that will continue the tradition of fish and chips for decades to come.
