Fish & Chip lovers in the West End, Southampton were cheering in July, as the mayor re-opened Mikes Fish Bar after a major refurbishment, over 100 VIP's and invited guests attended the gala opening of the very popular takeaway, which has been established for over 19 years.
When Mike & Sue Burlone took over, from Mikes father Frank, they decided not only to change the name but also the shop!
'We have invested everything' says Mike, 'to create the transformation - with a state of the art Florigo digitally operated range and a fantastic new design in the shop itself and stainless steel tiles (to match the range) to green down lighting on the counter and neon changing lights behind the menu!'
Robert Furey of Florigo was amazed by the transformation 'I wish Sue & Mike every success with the new shop, it really is a fantastic transformation' he said, 'and with the Florigo frying solution it will be easy to cope with all the extra customers!'
