Peter & Andy have nearly 50 years experience in the Fish & Chip industry, joining forces four years ago they now own and run the very successful Longs on Broadway, in Dorset, which includes a 60 seater restaurant and a very busy takeaway.

When they decided it was time to change the range there was really only one real option 'the old range was not keeping up with demand and we had queues out of the door on a busy evening' said Peter, 'we knew we had to invest in new technology'.

'We looked at various other ranges on the market' says Andy, 'but felt that Florigo offered us the best solution & having worked on Florigo for many years we knew it was a brand we could trust'.

Peter & Andy chose the latest Florigo High Efficiency Island Range, custom built to their own requirements with Touch Screen Computer Controls, a plate warmer, bain marie, mirror doors and colour co-ordinated down lighting to enhance the counter area and compliment the decor of the premises.

Robert Furey was on hand to guide them through the process, from initial consultation through to installation and training, 'he was a pleasure to buy from', said Peter 'we did not feel pressured or obligated to buy the range, he made our whole experience of purchasing a Florigo an enjoyable one!'

Longs on Broadway supply a wide range of fish and even make their own speciality fish cakes when time allows, they are well known for the quality of the product and now the range can keep up with demand the customers are even happier 'we no longer have queues outside the shop and unbelievably that's because this range, with only 9 baskets, can keep up with demand even when we are at our busiest' says Peter.

Peter says 'Even after just a few weeks we have noticed a huge difference, the range is a pleasure to use, and we are increasing our turnover - we went for the best and I am glad we did!'
