Trattoria Guidi & Florigo - a perfect Dutch and Italian partnership

When Carlo Guidi, the owner of Trattoria Guidi, wanted to expand his already very busy kitchen to offer an even better fried product to his customers, he called Robert Furey from Florigo to design the perfect range to compliment his team of chefs and make their job even easier.

Robert already knew the reputation that Trattoria Guidi had earned, in fact he was used to stopping off and eating there when he was in Scotland! ' The food at Guidi's has always been fantastic' said Robert Furey 'I would recommend anyone passing take an hour or two to sample the very best of Italian cuisine - I was delighted when Carlo asked me to supply a range for the restaurant'.

Robert designed a bespoke free standing wall range, but with a stainless steel back plate that meant the range could be situated anywhere in the kitchen but with the minimum of space used, with High Efficiency frying essential, Robert included basket chip and snack pans, large square fish pans and even a section for the chefs to throw the scraps away!

One of the many specialties is their range of spicy chicken products, so these do not contaminate other products on the menu, separate filtration was installed for that particular pan over and above the filtration for the rest of the range.

'I wanted to have the best product' said Carlo, 'so I went to the best range manufacturer and everything they promised has been delivered, the order process through to installation was as smooth as clockwork and caused the very minimum of disruption - anyone who wants to raise the level of fried food should seriously consider investing in a Florigo'.
